The best book I've ever read has been A Raisin in the Sun.I love that book bye far. It has so much suspense and uses everyday themes that apply to your everyday black family struggle.
When I was in first grade I had the entire poem A Dream Deferred. My aunt Kamille, who is an English teacher, loves Langston Hughes so that is pretty much what got me into it. I had to even recite the poem at daycare.
Although the characters grow in family strength, Walter is my favorite character because he is the one who i believe grows the most internally. He has to decide how he would get his family out of the predicament he place them in to begin with. He really let his family down during the story but he came out a proud man with a rock strong family.
I've read a lot of books in my past. But There is one that was my all time favorite! It was called size 12 is not fat. It's a great story about a girl at college. This girl used to be famous rock star but then she because the dorm manager at a New York College. Then all of a sudden with no cause known, all these girls start dying. They think it's because they were elevator surfing. But then the Dean's son comes in the picture. He is a cutie that everyone crushes on. Every girl likes him but there one in particular. She works at the college. In the end, it was her that killed the girls. She did so because she wanted to get the Dean's son to like her. But she ended up getting put in jail, and everything was solve. This book was very interesting and always kept you on your look out for anything that was going to happen next. This was the best book that i have ever read!
The best book I have ever read would defintiely be "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold. It is a book packed with thrilling action. Alice Sebold is great in word choice and sets up scenes better than any author I know of. She uses very vivid imagery when describing her characters and it just all makes the book fantastic!
The whole novel is about a little girl who is on her way home from school and is kidnapped and murdered. While her family on Earth is spending their lives trying to find her killer, she has created her own world in Heaven. She lives in her Heaven and watches as her family miss the little clues that could lead them to her killer. Eventually the murderer is found and you come to find out that this was not his first murder. He has murdered women in multiple states and has just gotten away with it. In the end, both the family and the girl in Heaven can live in peace.
It was truly an amazing book. There were tons of conflicts, both external abnd internal. My favorite character in the book was the little girl's father because no matter how much time went by, he wouldn't stop until the person who killed his daughter was imprisoned. I would reccomend this book to anyone who loves action, mystery, or thriller books. Alice Sebold is truly a talented writer.
i have read a ton of books lately, but there is nothing like the book by Nicolas Sparks "The Notebook" this is the best book i have possibly ever read.
its about a girl who's name is Allie that went to a town called Sea Brooke for the summer. while she was there she met this boy name Noah. she didn't really think anything about him or didn't really want to get to know him. a few weeks later they are dating.
this book is the best love story of our time. Noah & Allie in the end, are married and they live in the nursing home. where they are both quiet old and are suffering illnesses. in the end they lay down one night together and don't wake up the next morning. this book is the best and my favorite book EVER :)
Hm mm.... The best book i ever read was the Doppelganger. That book is off the chains. The book was like: raised in a cabin in the middle of nowhere by a mother who despises him, the doppelganger has left home at last. He is making his way toward human society. He's coming to do what every member of his monster race must: find an unsuspecting human and make his first kill. He will then take that shape and identity for himself.
Doppelgangers are not supposed to have doubts. But this one does. His mother was right. He's weak. Too human, maybe. But even that can't stop him from killing. He has to do it. It's who he is.
It is only after stepping into the life of a small-town teenager that the doppelganger learns that his may not be the only cruel existence. In fact, maybe monsters aren't always who we think they are.
The best book I have ever read would have to be Madea's...Don't Make a Black Women Take Off Her Earrings.! Its written by Tyler Perry and it's a funny book. It kind of reminds you of his movies, but it is a book instead! It is telling about her life from when she was a baby until she had her own kids and it also tells about her life now. It gives you life lesson and teaches you how to stand up for yourself. You would think, since we are talking about Madea that it can't be serious and have serious parts but it actually does. It has bible scriptures in it and also some parts that make you think about things in your life. It teaches you how to "date" in Madea's world and how to "get rid" of your husband which is the part that you no is fake and is not true. Inside of this book, if you have ever seen the movie you no that Madea doesn't really curse. She only really said the "H" word a lot but we all no that's Madea for you! I really enjoyed the book a lot. It was funny and very interesting. I could sit and read that book over and over again! It is funny and serious at times and I really think you should go out and buy this book. It will not be a waste of money. Trust me!:]
The best book that I have ever read is "The Christopher Killer". There are many reasons why I enjoy this book.
The Christopher Killer is a book about a teenage girl who wants to follow in her father's footsteps in becoming a coroner for her town. A coroner is someone who is called when a death has occurred.
In "The Christopher Killer" Cameryn Mahoney asks her dad if she could come with him on an important case. She discovers that becoming assistant to the coroner is not going to be an easy accomplishment. Once at the case she is exposed to the job of a coroner.
While on the scene of the crime, Cameryn discovers that being a coroner is not the easiest thing in the world and involves a lot of patience. In the Christopher Killer, Cameryn has a friend who she works with at the hotel and her name is Rachel.
In this book, Rachel left to go hiking in the mountains. Then one day the coroner got a call from the police officer, Sheriff Jacobs, reporting a girl had been killed in the mountains. Once arrived, Cameryn found a medallion with the Christopher Killer written on it.
The Christopher Killer probably has to be my favorite book of all time because it is a combination of suspense, romance, and a whole lot more.
the best book that i have ever read was "13 reasons why". i think that it is the best book because i can't put it down when i read it. it is nominated for the South Carolina Junior Book Award.
it is about a girl that commits suicide. when one day clay finds a package for him with no return address on it. when he opens it he finds a bunch of cassettes in the package.
it turns out to be the girl that killed herself. on the tapes it explains why she decided to kill herself. she tells you about her life history and how bad she had it. it is about a bunch of people and only them. it is only sent to the people on the tapes and if you don't send it then it gets published in the world.
The best book I ever read was Breaking Dawn, the fourth book in the Twilight Saga. The whole saga was great, but the ending was the best. In a way, I really didn’t want it to end. The whole saga starts off with a girl named Isabella Swan. She was living in Phoenix, Arizona with her mom, but she moved to Forks, Washington to live with her dad. In Forks, she fell in love with Edward Cullen, who was a vampire, and around the end of the second book and beginning of the third, they got married.
Everyone thought humans couldn’t have half vampire, half human babies but in the book, they could. Bella ended up having a baby human/vampire girl. In order to keep Bella alive, Edward had to change Bella into a vampire after she gave birth to the baby. The girl didn’t grow like a normal child; they said she would be a grown adult in seven years. The good thing about the story is that Jacob, Bella’s best friend and werewolf, had seen him and the baby girl being soul mates once she was older. After all this had gone on, the royalty of all vampires wanted to kill Bella’s baby because they thought she was immortal, when she wasn’t.
At the end of the story, Bella and Edward were still together with their daughter and Bella’s best friend Jacob. This is only a short overview in my perspective of Breaking Dawn. In reality, it is a lot more than what I just said. If you want to know the whole story, read the whole Twilight Saga, it is really good! Breaking Dawn was the best of all of them though!
The best book that i have ever read was called New Moon. although it is a book about vampires, blood and a lot of fights; i like the way the story is. The book New Moon is part of a saga called the Twilight Saga. In the first book, Twilight, a girl moved to a place called forks. forks is a small town where it always rains. everyone knows her because her dad is the sheriff. she meets a guy named Edward and then finds out that he is a vampire. In New Moon, she is still talking ti her and then one day he tells her that he has to leave and go far away. He runs into the woods and she fallows him. when he finally leaves, she falls into the ground and stays there until someone comes to find her. she lives on in her life. hanging out with friends, but she keeps hearing Edward in her mind. This book has a lot of romance in it and a lot of conflicts, but it is still a good book.
The best book I have ever read was New Moon from the twilight saga. I really enjoyed all of the books in this series but, I especially liked this one. It kept me on my toes and guessing throughout the whole book. The imagery was spectacular. And I love the way Stephine Meyer words things.
New Moon is a continuation of twilight. In this book bella, is turning eighteen. However, she hates the idea of ageing and does not want the Cullens or anyone for that matter to give her a present or acknowledge that it's her birthday. Meanwhile they through her a a party anyway. And when she is opening a gift she cuts her finger.
As you may know they Cullens are vampires and this causes quite an uproar. Even though she didn't have a serious injury, it caused Edward to re-evaluate his position. And he ended up leaving her. Bella goes through a state of shock and reclusiveness. Months later she begins to hang out with Jacob and he repairs two motorcycles for her. He also happens to like her...a lot. After she takes them for a ride and gets hurt she realizes she can see Edward when she engages in risky activities. So she begins to do so.
All the while Jacob is finding out that he is a werewolf. Eventually Bella does too, and she is introduced to the "pack". Who happen to hunt vampires. Not to long after that Alice returns thinking Bella is dead, only to find she is not. However, Edward does not think so. So he goes to the voultri to get killed because, he does not want to live with out her. Bella and Alice race their and in the nick of time Bella saves him. Then they have a meeting with the voultri where they decided Bella must be changed into a vampire, or killed, because she knows to much. The book ends with Edward asking Bella to marry him.
There are a lot of books out there and I haven't read nearly enough of them. I would have to save twilight was my favorite book. I enjoyed this book because it was different at the time. Now it is all about vampires. I also liked it because it was a romance novel. It also had action in it so it attracted a wider audience.
I liked it was suspenseful when Edward was ignoring Bella and she felt out of place. When Edward told Bella about being a vampire it was trilling. Then, when the other vampires came after Bella, it was just so good. The love Bella and Edward shared was wrong but true like Romeo and Juliet.
The book was a page turner for me. I enjoyed it very much and it was entertaining in many different ways. I think a lot of people enjoyed the books. I also can not wait until all of the movies come out. I got to get cracking on those last two books.
The best book I have ever read was "Sold". It is about this young girl who was sold into prostitution. I really felt made for the character because she thought she was leaving her family to go be a maid to make money. She didn't know what was getting ready to take place in her life. Her family really didn't have much, in today's society her family would be in the low poverty class. Reading this story has taught me a valuable lesson in life. That lesson is to believe, even when things aren't working in my favor. And to believe there is still hope despite of how the situation looks. Despite of whatever I may be going through in life there is still hope for me. Sometimes I feel I'm down for the last count, and when am at low point in life. Then I remember there is still hope despite of what I'm dealing with. In the story the young girl believed that someone was going to come and take her from the place where she was at. Even though she had been threaten, she didn't stop believing. At the end of the story the American came back and rescued her.She didn't stop believing because she knew that there was still hope, even in the mist of what she was going through.
I have read many books before. I would have to say that the best book I have ever read was The Off Season. It is a sequel to the book Dairy Queen. Both of them are really good books because I feel like I can relate to the main character.
The book is about a girl who works on her family's farm because her dad was injured when he tried to move some farming equipment. It was hard for her to fit in at school and take care of the things at home she needed to take care of.
This book shows the responsibility of a young girl. She was just an average person trying to do everything she was supposed do get done. It shows the hassles of people our age and what they go through on a day-to-day basis. I begin to appreciate everything that I have because I know how good I have it.
The best book i have ever read would have to be wild man island by will hobbs. In this book ther is a kid whos name is Andy and is on a kanuing trip with a wilderness class. He finds out that he is near an island where his father died, and he would like to visit it.
So he sneaks from his camp and padles over to the island. so he gets there and wonders around the shore. But when he tryed to leave a storm came. and he was washed onto shore and stranded on the island with cold water all around.
and there is a wild man who stayed on the island that wonted to escape from everything. so he faked his death and camped out on the island. and he ociasinally helps Andy out whenever he is in trouble.
but ilike this book because it makes you think that the wild man is Andys father the whole time.
The best book I've ever read...well there's 3. There all the same series, no its not twilight. The Caretaker Trilogy is good set of books but in my opinion it ended a little too soon. The first book, "Firestorm", which was on the summer reading list and it was worth every penny i spent on it. Firestorm is based on a 17 year old running born 1000 years in the future. A war was going on in his time so his parents sent him back to the turning point so he could prevent everything that was happening. The only way for him to do that was to find Firestorm. No one knew what Firestorm was but they knew it could save the earth. The other books finish off the sequel. I wont tell because the whole series is well-developed and a must-read for those who like creative actiony...fictiony...READ IT PLEASE!!
The best book I have ever read was "Keeping the Moon" by Sarah Dessen! I really enjoy this book because it shows you a teenage girl who is trying to find interest in her annoying summer. This book is interesting for teenage female readers.
Sarah Dessen is my all time favorite writer so all books by her are my favorite. This story is about a teenage girl who is staying with a relative while working at a local restaurant for the summer. The girl finds love, and strange friendship along the way!
Sarah Dessen finds ways to entice readers who have been through the same thing, many teenage girls try to find some kind of work in the summer time. Also the book is rather strange because the teenagers mom is a rather antagonist kind of character. You should definitely check this book out.
The best book I ever read was "Twilight". It's an amazing book. A lot of people are like obsessed over it but, I'm not; I just love the twist and turns of the love story.
Edward and Bella have a forbidden love but they still stay together and not let it both them. It is the story of Romeo and Juliet with didn't turn and twists to it.
The book was wonderful and I would read it over and over again. I saw the movie but it doesn't compare to the book. They leave out to many details but, it is still good. Twilight is GREAT!
What a wonderful question to ask your wonderful students Mrs. Miller. I have read over 379,000,000 books but the best one was Go Dogs Go. My mom read this one to me every night before I went to bed until I was able to read. It was a rhyming book with 15 pages that made me laugh my booty off. Every page had a couple pictures of dogs on them and they were awesome. This would have to be the best book I have ever read. I dropped it in the toilet when I was 7 so I no longer have the book. Even though I hate to read books, I liked to read Go Dogs Go.
The best book I've ever read is called "A Child Called It." This book is so good and It is such in detail. This book is a true story about a little boy striving to get away from his abusive mother, but every time he tries she finds him.
David, the little boy in the book, is practically tortured every day of his life. His mother likes to give him the "mirror treatment." The mirror treatment is when she takes his face and slams it into a mirror. His mother does not feed him, the only thing he gets to eat is the leftover cereal from his brothers.
The mom in the book is crazy; literally. She tried to stab David and put him on the oven to "cook." She's an alcoholic and she has very bad temper problems. His mom makes him wear rags for clothes. When he finally tells someone about his abusive mother, he is moved from foster home to foster home until he was right back to where he started...living in his mothers garage.
The best book I ever read is "Rules of Survival." This is my most favorite book because it is so real life. It talks about a young boy my age who's mother beats him and his sisters. It is so said, and I can not believe that some old bag of dust would do that to innocent children. During the story the mother gets a new boyfriend and she begins to treat them better. But when he breaks up with him, she begins to treat them the same way. But at the end the young boy kills his mother. And I was so excited that they would not have to be with that women anymore. I really liked this book, and I hope there will be a sequel.
Hello Mrs. Miller. I would like to start this off by telling you that you look very pretty today. I can hardly concentrate on this paragraph due to your Beauty.
Anyways the best book i have ever read Goodnight Moon. It was about when a kid went to bed and he said goodnight to everything in his room. The climax is when he says goodnight to the moon.
This book is great. I would recommend it to any very advanced readers that like picture books with one sentence on each page. Burr.
The best book i have ever read was The Spiderwick Chronicles. This was a set of books that was about these three kids that moved away with their mom into their grandmas house because she divorced their dad. There were two sons and a daughter. The daughter was the oldest. The two sons were around the same age.
So, basically, they get to their grandmas house and it is old and creaky and dusty. They decide to wander around a little bit and they find a dumbwaiter. So the little boy decided to climb into it and see where it leads. It was into the attic and it looks like a old scientist had lived there or something.
So he found a little scope looking thing and put it on his eye. Then all of a sudden all these amazing but some scary, creatures started appearing. Than he opened a book that shouldn't have been opened and bad things started happening. Now they are on a quest to find the scientist whom wrote the book and get him to destroy it. (the kids do not have the power to destroy it).
the best book i ever read was "the clique" series. i really like those books because of the drama and the raziness that goes on in the books.
the series is about these 3 best friends who are filthy stinking rich. They are supposedly the "popular clique" in their school. Massie the leader of the clique, her father's best friend is moving in their guest house and the parents are trying to force Claire, Massie's father's best friend's daughter, to be best friends! Massie doesn't like this at all!
i guess Claire didnt meet Massie's friend standards. but, in the end the two become the best of friends. so, now Massie has a clique of four best friends including Claire!
I don't read that much, so i don't really have a favorite book. The only book that i can remember reading cover to cover is Shoeless Joe and Me.
It was about a boy who could travel back in time using baseball cards. The boys traveled back in time to meet his great great grandpa. He traveled to the 1919 World Series. When he was there he met a baseball player by the name of Joe Jackson. While on his trip the boy had to deal with a problem. Joe was about to be thrown out of baseball. They said he was.....
I think it is a book worth reading, so i wont tell you what all happens. You should check it out sometime.
The best book I have ever read had to be Twilight. This book is about a girl from Arizona to live with her dad. When she moved, she did not expect to make friends with a family of vampires. She meets a guy named Edward Cullen and falls head over heels for him.
She learns a lot about Edward and he is in love with her too. She does some research on his weird features and finds out that he is a vampire. Strangely, she is not afraid, but becomes more attracted to him.
She meets his family and learns that they are not the blood-sucking type but that they get the blood from animals. The family finds out that a groups of vampires want to suck Bella's blood so they do anything to safe her. The vampire named James, tricks her and makes her believe that he has her mom and in order to safe her, she must come there. Well the Cullens rush to save her and everything is ok.
The best book I ever read was a series. It was The Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. It has all of the Greek gods in it in a modern way. It is pretty cool. I found that the voice of the author is very original.
The books are all very well planned out so that in the last book you need to have read all the books to understand. In the books there is a lot of foreshadowing, but if you haven't read it before, you don't catch any of it. The books start out with Young Percy, who never lasts at a single school for more than a year. He has ADHD and dyslexia. Bad stuff always happens to him.
One day, a teacher turns into a monster and attacks him. He uses an ancient Greek sword to fight off the creature. He is then discovered as being half god. He finds out that his dad is Poseidon. The rest of his books include him trying to save the world from his grandad (Kronos). The books are pretty funny, you should read them.
WELL, I HAVE READ SEVERAL BOOKS... AND THE TWILIGHT SAGA SO FAR IS THE BEST... IM ON THE LAST BOOK BREAKING DAWN... I MEAN SHES IN LOVE WITH A WER WOLF AND A VAMPIRE HOW WEIRD IS THAT... ITS CRAZY... FIRST OF ALL JACOBS HER BEST FRIEND... EVENTUALLY SHE FINDS OUT SHES IN LOVE WITH ALSO.. EVERYONE KNOWS SHES GOING TO CHOSE EDWARD(VAMPIRE)... SHE CANT HELP WHO SHE LOVES... ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS EITHER WAY SHES IN A DANGEROUS SITUATION..
The best book that I ever read was Breaking Dawn from the Twilight series. It is the last book of the series and in my opinion, the best book. The series is about a girl who moves to Washington state and she meets a Vampire. She falls in love with the vampire. That was the first book.
The second book was about a werewolf that comes into her life after the vampire breaks up with her and leaves her forever.(not really)
The third book is about a vampire that comes back to try and kill the girl so the vampire is making a whole army of new vampires that are very dangerous so they have to stop them.
The last book, Breaking Dawn, is about the girl gets pregnant from the vampire that she falls in love with. Since she got pregnant with a vampire, the vampire started eating her insides, so she has to get turned into a vampire.
The best book that I ever read was Green Eggs and Ham. The book was about a mean monster that would not eat the little monsters green eggs and ham because he thought they were nasty even though he had never had any before. But in the end the Mean Monster finnaly ate the Green Eggs and Ham and he liked them. This Book teaches kids to try things before they say that they are nasty. Thats is my favorite book I have another book that I think is my favorite book, I like the book Maniac Maggee, this book is a good book for people that like Childrens Books, because its about a boy who'S MOM and DAD dies when he was young and he moves in with his granparents, but runs away from home because he is tired of his grandparents fighting all the time. He ends up living with a family of African Americans, and to the people in this book, this is considered illegal. It is a very good book. If you like books with a series, I say that I used to like Harry Potter books, but they got to long for me to read so i just quit reading them. I used to love reading Harry Potter and I read my first one in the 2nd grade. Its about a wizard with a magic wand and powers at Hogwarts. Those are my favorite books.
The best book I ever read was Doppelganger. This book is really awesome and it is real easy to lose yourself in this novel. This book is about a boy who is not a real human. He is what you call a Doppelganger. A doppelganger is a creature that feeds off of human people to survive. They are something like shift-shapers. Doppelgangers are ugly and do not have names. This boy is a nice and caring doppelganger and does not want to kill people to survive. But, when the time comes to take someones life and he does not take the urge his body starts to become transparent until he gives in. He ends up taking this old drunk man's life(he was about to die anyway so it did not matter). So for then on he lived the old man's homeless life until the old man's body could not hold anymore. So, when these boys come to beat the hold man the doppelgange take charge and kills the man teenager nagging him. So he strangled him. That meant he beacame the young teenager because now he was in his body. He lived the teenagers life for a while until it got complicated. Sorry, but you have to read thet book if you want to know more
Well one of the best books I have ever read was November Blues by Sharon M. Draper. It is a very good book too. It's about these tennagers who are popular and November's boyfriend joins this organization called the Warriors with his cousins and friends.Jericho which is November's boyfriend died when doing something with the Warriors. She statred feeling sick and went to the doctor and fount out she was pregnant once he was already dead. She ended up getting a job and trying to make it with the help of her freinds and mom.She and his parents went through alot with them adopting the child or she keeping it.After the parents fount out the baby would have some problems they no longer wanted it.She kept the baby at the end and named it Sunshine because the baby put a smile on her face.
The best book I have ever read was November Blues by Sharon M. Draper. That book is the best book I have ever read it talks abouts about this girl who ended up pregnant but the babies father died an organization called the warriors. At first November didn't want to tell her mother cause she knew her mother would be mad about it but the doctor that she went to told her she needed to tell her.Of course when she told her her mother was mad. Through her preganancy she met a new friend in the bathroom, the girl asssist her and told her that she been knew that she was pregnant.November tried to keep it a seceret but soon everybody found out. Her friend jericho was there by her side the whole time since the babies father was his cousin. November had the baby on the way back from a football game and had to be air lifted to the hospital.Through out the story Josh parents (which was the babies father) wanted the baby but as soon as tehy found out the baby was going to have a mental problem they didn't want it anymore. They became apart of the babies life when jericho talk them into it
Books are amazing to read, they open up portals to other worlds. I love to just get a good book and relax. I've read many books, but my all time favorite has to be "A Walk to Remember" by Nicholas Sparks.
What urged me to read "A Walk to Remember" was the movie. I love the movie and when I stumbled across the book I was dying to read it! This book tells about love, death, and miracles. The main characters teach us that it doesn't matter what others say, no matter what you should be with the one you love. Jamie and Landon are exact opposites that find similarities in their love for one another.
I think that this story is life changing. Landon Carter goes from a stuck up popular kid to a compassionate man in love with the minister's daughter. To me the book meant that one day you'll find a guy that will prove to be different from the rest. As Landon Carter says after Jamie passed, she changed his life..if not saved it.
"Jamie saved my life. She taught me everything. About life, hope and the long journey ahead. I'll always miss her. But our love is like the wind. I can't see it, but I can feel it."
The best book I've ever read was a book called The Rules Of Survival. The book was about three kids whose mom was crazy. Every time the kids don't do something she tells them to she will hit them. When I was reading the book, the mom brought back some groceries from the store and for some reason, her son ask her a question about throwing away the grocery bag and then she hits her son with some clams from the bag in her hand. Also one day, she took her kids out for a day of fun. When they were on the way home, she said that her kids didn't say thank you for what she did that day. Also she said that her kids didn't say they loved her so while on her way home she went into oncoming traffic until her kids say they loved her. So she went back to the other lane without nobody getting hurt. That was the best book I've ever read.
I really dont have a specific book in mind when it comes to the best book ever. I cant really say i don't have a favorite either though. I like any and all books.
I mean, i like to read. period. Its one of my hobbies. I love the places i go in the pages of books. :)I'm in the library on a daily basis. (or when i can be) I have read many books and have come to like a good bit of them. But there are some i could have left alone, but we wont go into those :)
I cant really say that i have a favorite book, i like them all. I like to read. I don't think that's a crime. I don't have one favorite book in particular. I like them all, or any i can get my hands on. :)
I really don't have a favorite book but i guess i can choose one. I would have to say my favorite book right now would have to be The Looking Glass Wars. In this book the author takes the classic story of Alice on Wonderland and turns it upside down. The book starts off with the prolouge talking about Alice telling her story to a priest and how he ruins her story. Then the book go own to talk about how Alyss' whole world is flipped from being the most powerful princess of Wonderlandia to becoming an orphan and no one believing her story not even herself. Then the book goes on to where she is rescued by her childhood friend and her leading a revolt again st her aunt who was the person that killed her parents (including her sister) so she could be queen. I like this book because of the wait changes your whole perspective of the childhood story of Alice in Wonderland, and i can't wait to finish the series.
The best book I have ever read, has to be Drama High: The Fight by L.Divine. The main character of Jayd reminds me of myself in so many ways. I can completely relate to this book.
This book involves many things that happen to teens all the time. From teenage pregnancy to girls fighting over a dude. And from rumors going around to a "friend" stealing your boyfriend or girlfriend.
The girl in this book lives with her grandmother and likes to call her school Drama High, I bet you can guess why. First, her boyfriend dumps her because she wasn't interested in losing her virginity quite yet and every other girl was. Then, his new girlfriend decides she wants to fight Jayd over him because of something her ex-best friend told her and because Jayd's ex-boyfriend admits he is still in love with her. Yes, with everything bad going on, she meets a boy named Jeremy who she is interested in and who is interested in her. In the end, things turn out find and karma takes care of who it needs to.
Mrs.Miller my favorite book is Holes; it is a great book and great movie. My mother told she would treat me like they treated him if i don't act right. That book taught me a lot things such as to not steal from and get someone else in trouble for something i did. But the book is very ironic.
Okay, I saved this one for last because it was my favorite topic.
My absolute favorite book, or books, is the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare.
In City of Bones, Clary Fray is sucked into the world of the Shadowhunters after visiting Club Pandemonium with her best friend, Simon. She sees three teenagers her age with their strange symbols inked into their skin kill someone, or something. Golden haired Jace takes her back the to the Institute after rescuing her from her apartment after Clary passes out after killing a demon. She then learns that her past is not once she once thought it was as she searches for her missing mother.
In City of Ashes, Clary finds out about Simon's true feelings for her and gives dating him a chance. But she is falling harder for her "brother," in a way that is not at all sisterly as they search for Valentine and wait for Clary's mother to wake.
In City of Glass, Magnus opens the portal to Idris, with Jace trying to keep Clary from coming. Clary draws herself a rune to open a portal to go to Idris after Madeleine is killed and Magnus cannot reopen another. Once she and Luke reach Idris, she goes to Jace who tells her to go home, and meets Sebastian, a guy who is not what he seems...
I'm not the best at telling about them, but they are my all time, absolute favorite books, and I recommend them to everyone!
My favorite book would have to be The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. It is a fairly interesting book and is a teenage one as well. It is about three-hundred to four-hundred pages long. I is about a girl named Clary and her friend Simon. They go to a club one night and Clary sees a strange looking boy. She keeps a eye on him just out of a feeling she has. Later, the boy is attacked by three other teenagers that claim that the boy is a demon. They called themselves Shadow Hunters and they hunt demons to keep the Mundanes safe.
I’ve read many good books during elementary and not so many in high school. But so far I read one book that really caught my attention. I hope I can read many more like this. It was an experience for me to read this book. I hope I can find another similar soon. The book I read was The First Part Last. This book was about a teenage couple who found out that they had a baby on the way. Soon Bobby the farther of the child had to take of the responsibilities of being a good parent. Soon they found out that Nia was having problems being sick. Nia is Bobby’s girlfriend and she became brain damaged under some condition. They had decided on many options like adoption but their parents didn’t want them to give child away. Bobby didn’t know how he was going to take care of his child. Little Feather his child had to go to the baby sitter each day because he was still in school. Nia became a vegetable and had to go into the nursing home. This book was a very good book that made you think about making decisions and using types of birth control like saying no as a teenager is another key the key to success. I really enjoyed this book it made me think hard about my future and what I shouldn’t do.
i think the best book i read has been the teen love stories i borrowed from my aunt. she read them when she was a teen to.
the reason i like them is because they really are true about how how girls and guys date wrong people and then find their way together. their just cute and they make a lot of sense to me.
there are many different stories about different teens and their problems. that's why i like the teen love story novels. they are some really cute books.
There are so many great books out there. It's a hard question. I choose Sold by Patricia McCormick. I love Sold because it's so real. That stuff can happen in real life. There's probably someone getting sold into prostitution right now. It's real sad and you might get really emotionally tied into the book. I love realistic fiction. It mad me cry at one piont but it's great. I wanted to help so bad. That book made me want to help others. It made me want to make a difference. I think everyone should read this book. It should be required. I don't even like to read nut i like that book. Sold rocks!
The best book I've ever read has been A Raisin in the Sun.I love that book bye far. It has so much suspense and uses everyday themes that apply to your everyday black family struggle.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in first grade I had the entire poem A Dream Deferred.
ReplyDeleteThis girl used to be famous rock star but then she because the dorm manager at a New York College.
ReplyDeleteThe whole novel is about a little girl who is on her way home from school and is kidnapped and murdered.
-Courtney N.
i have read a ton of books lately, but there is nothing like the book by Nicolas Sparks "The Notebook" this is the best book i have possibly ever read.
ReplyDeleteits about a girl who's name is Allie that went to a town called Sea Brooke for the summer. while she was there she met this boy name Noah. she didn't really think anything about him or didn't really want to get to know him. a few weeks later they are dating.
this book is the best love story of our time.
ReplyDeleteDoppelgangers are not supposed to have doubts.
I'm Out
The best book I have ever read would have to be Madea's...Don't Make a Black Women Take Off Her Earrings.! Trust me!:]
ReplyDeleteThe best book that I have ever read is "The Christopher Killer". There are many reasons why I enjoy this book.
ReplyDeleteThe Christopher Killer is a book about a teenage girl who wants to follow in her father's footsteps in becoming a coroner for her town.
ReplyDeleteit is about a girl that commits suicide. when one day clay finds a package for him with no return address on it. when he opens it he finds a bunch of cassettes in the package.
it turns out to be the girl that killed herself. on the tapes it explains why she decided to kill herself. she tells you about her life history and how bad she had it. it is about a bunch of people and only them. it is only sent to the people on the tapes and if you don't send it then it gets published in the world.
ReplyDeleteEveryone thought humans couldn’t have half vampire, half human babies but in the book, they could.
ReplyDeleteThe book New Moon is part of a saga called the Twilight Saga.
ReplyDeleteNew Moon is a continuation of twilight.
ReplyDeleteI liked it was suspenseful when Edward was ignoring Bella and she felt out of place.
ReplyDeleteReading this story has taught me a valuable lesson in life.
ReplyDeleteThe book is about a girl who works on her family's farm because her dad was injured when he tried to move some farming equipment.
ReplyDeleteSo he sneaks from his camp and padles over to the island. so he gets there and wonders around the shore.
ReplyDeleteThe best book I have ever read was "Keeping the Moon" by Sarah Dessen! I really enjoy this book because it shows you a teenage girl who is trying to find interest in her annoying summer. This book is interesting for teenage female readers.
ReplyDeleteSarah Dessen is my all time favorite writer so all books by her are my favorite.
ReplyDeleteEdward and Bella have a forbidden love but they still stay together and not let it both them.
ReplyDeleteIt was a rhyming book with 15 pages that made me laugh my booty off.
ReplyDeleteDavid, the little boy in the book, is practically tortured every day of his life.
ReplyDeleteHello Mrs. Miller. I would like to start this off by telling you that you look very pretty today. I can hardly concentrate on this paragraph due to your Beauty.
ReplyDeleteAnyways the best book i have ever read Goodnight Moon.
ReplyDeleteSo, basically, they get to their grandmas house and it is old and creaky and dusty.
ReplyDeletethe series is about these 3 best friends who are filthy stinking rich.
ReplyDeleteIt was about a boy who could travel back in time using baseball cards.
ReplyDeleteShe learns a lot about Edward and he is in love with her too.
ReplyDeleteThe books are all very well planned out so that in the last book you need to have read all the books to understand.
ReplyDeleteI MEAN SHES IN LOVE WITH A WER WOLF AND A VAMPIRE HOW WEIRD IS THAT...
ReplyDeleteThe second book was about a werewolf that comes into her life after the vampire breaks up with her and leaves her forever.(not really)
Thats is my favorite book
ReplyDeleteI have another book that I think is my favorite book, I like the book Maniac Maggee, this book is a good book for people that like Childrens Books, because its about a boy who'S MOM and DAD dies when he was young and he moves in with his granparents, but runs away from home because he is tired of his grandparents fighting all the time.
P.S.: You look very pretty today Mrs. Miller
The best book I ever read was Doppelganger. This book is really awesome and it is real easy to lose yourself in this novel.
ReplyDeleteThis book is about a boy who is not a real human.

ReplyDeleteWell one of the best books I have ever read was November Blues by Sharon M.
ReplyDeleteThe best book I have ever read was November Blues by Sharon M. ReplyDeleteBooks are amazing to read, they open up portals to other worlds. I love to just get a good book and relax. I've read many books, but my all time favorite has to be "A Walk to Remember" by Nicholas Sparks.
ReplyDeleteWhat urged me to read "A Walk to Remember" was the movie.
ReplyDeleteI really dont have a specific book in mind when it comes to the best book ever. I cant really say i don't have a favorite either though. I like any and all books.
ReplyDeleteI mean, i like to read.
ReplyDeleteI would have to say my favorite book right now would have to be The Looking Glass Wars.
ReplyDeleteThis book involves many things that happen to teens all the time.
ReplyDeleteThat book taught me a lot things such as to not steal from and get someone else in trouble for something i did. But the book is very ironic.
Okay, I saved this one for last because it was my favorite topic.
ReplyDeleteMy absolute favorite book, or books, is the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare.
ReplyDeleteI is about a girl named Clary and her friend Simon.
ReplyDeleteThe book I read was The First Part Last.
ReplyDeletethe reason i like them is because they really are true about how how girls and guys date wrong people and then find their way together. their just cute and they make a lot of sense to me.
there are many different stories about different teens and their problems. that's why i like the teen love story novels. they are some really cute books.
There are so many great books out there. It's a hard question. I choose Sold by Patricia McCormick. I love Sold because it's so real. That stuff can happen in real life.
ReplyDeleteThere's probably someone getting sold into prostitution right now.
Sold rocks!
